Hi Smoke,

Its probably because your message which you obviously composed as an HTML
message was translated into plain text which most people on lists prefer.
I'm really surprised that anyone is still using HTML on email groups given
the likelihood that doing so will expose you to an ever growing number of
html based virus'. I would only ever use html messaging direct to a person I
knew well enough to know that their system was well maintained and used in a
sensible way - and the chances are that, in that case, they would not have
their machine set to receive html from me anyway!
