You've made some good points re. compucut.
Some of the newer Roland machines seem to accept both HPGL and G-Code.
My Roland has selectable resolution of 0.025 or 0.01 mm, I use the
latter naturaly. I found Roland's implementation of HPGL very easy to
get to grips with and it's been a great machine to get started with.
I bought it 2nd hand, the new ones are very expensive compared to
what else is available, but now I'm at the "where do I go from here"
stage. I'd like an extra axis and if possible better cutting rates.
