Go to the FAQ page (URL at the bottom of this message. Select the link
"Bill's (the list mom) collection of links" It is almost all the way to the
bottom. Look through the list and you will find 3 or 4 links to information
on building a phase converter. The other thing you can do is buy a VFD as
most can be run on single phase if derated.
