There are several / many small shops in StL that do electronic surplus some
of which appears to come from Mac.

Gateway Electronics, Midland & Olive Blvd. is the biggest I know about.

There is a second one on St. Rock Road just west of the innerbelt again
mostly electronics and some sci instruments

Would like to find a place in StL that has machine tools / motors / bulk
metal etc.

St. Louis is just a 100 miles from where I live, day trip OK if you wait
till after the rush hours to leave the inner parts of the city.
