I've been playing with Cutviewer also. I just got Ace Converter
and CNCPro, and have been trying to figure them out. The Cutviewer
config file _gcode.nci has a line:
IJkformat_abs=end-center
that I changed to:
IJkformat_abs=center-start
and it seems to read the Ace generated code.
It will also let you modify the default ';' comment character
and the default '.nc' extension.

Per the documentation, you should be able to use multiple
copies of the .nci file, but I haven't figured out how to
get it to find any except the default _gcode.nci. Anyone
else tried this?

While I'm here, another question, in CNCPro what does the
Constant Contour feature do? I can't see anything different
with it on or off?

Keep it up. I have my Sherline set up and running, sort of;-)
To the other beginners, it's a real hoot the first time the
dang thing actualy cuts something. In my case I had a little
2.5 inch flywheel already drawn up, (Jerry Howell's Half Miser).
I don't remember how long it took me to cut the spokes when I
first made it, but watching the mill cut them and the flutes on
the rim in just minutes rather than hours, (days?) Whow! And it did
a better job too... Al
