How much would it cost to pay for quality webspace and set up our own
commercial-free list? I know diddly-squat about the details of this sort of
thing, but I am willing to pay for, say, the first six months if someone can
do the development.

Surely, there is some kind of pre-packaged stuff available to set up our own
space. How much $? Tell me where.

I know we went through this discussion when egroups acquired onelist. We
will likely go through it again when Yahoo's failing stock gets sucked up by
yet another obnoxious cyberbiz. It's a frustrating cycle.

We paid for ad-free space once before - got screwed. I'm not trying to be a
pessimist, just looking toward the future.
