Sherline vs Unimat

There was a discussion on the merits of Sherline vs
Unimat on the Sherline list recently. I posted the
message below in that list but thought I have a better
chance of getting it answered on this list

I have a Unimat Classic. I hope to retrofit it for CNC
for learning purpose. Has anyone
Retrofitted the tiny Unimat, or have anyone any
information for a commercial retrofit kit? Commercial
operators welcomed.
