I picked up a used dyna 2400C . The dyna 2400C had some of the features
that worked and some didn't. I really didn't like the conversational G code.
So I disconnected the 8 wire stepper motor plug from the drivers. Then I
painstakingly figured out the coil wiring and Next I made an adapter for
bipolar parallel operation to one of my drivers bypassing all the dyna2400C
stuff . Now I use step and direction software and one of my drivers for each
axis. Much better. Though, since I figured all that out I really wanted to
sit down and figure a way to use the existing drivers and simply replacing
the EPROM that they use . I bet it can be done easily but ...... so many
machines to build.... so little time.
