Wow I probably have this stuff in my shop already. Is this set up clean
enough to power the board?

Dan has the following items listed on his web page:
A 110VAC to 24VAC 10 amp transformer ($40)
A 15000UF 50VDC computer grade Cap $12
a Bridge rectifier 400V PIV 20 amps $5
If you wire them together with an appropriate switch and fuse you will have
a ~36 VDC power supply that will work perfectly for you.
