ah, yes, hang head and mumble.

The cockroach thing I picked up somewhere....probably the same place I got the stuff about the common fly.
Attractants are indole (suprise ;-) ) and toluene. No explanation for the toluene.
Standard attractant stuff is done with bifurcated streams of air doped with various attractants.
Another variation is to observe the antennae of insects when exposed to ??? attractants.
Or maybe put charge amps (?) on the head end of insect antenna (singular). USDA codling moth research was in a lab just down the
street from me if that makes any difference.
Sorry but I just couldn't resist. Esoteric knowledge is sometime fun.
This list seems to reflect a really wide pool of knowledge. :-)
