Rich,

The control port PART of the p-port is four bits which CAN be used
for input/output...

You are correct that CncPRO does not implement any "input" on these
bits, which are on pins 1,11,14,16 of the connector.

The other possible gotcha of the CncPRO I/O bits is that they were
originally set up for std. CNC functions... This means that coolant
off (M09) turns off BOTH "coolant" bits. These are turned ON by M07,
and M08. M03(spindle on CW) is turned off by M05, which ALSO "would"
turn off M04(spindle on CCW) IF spindle control were fully
implemented by CncPRO.
