How did you bypass the thermal protection? What is the temperature sensor
mechanism?

I fitted a Sherline motor/controller to my Taig mill a while back, but the
thought of the motor cutting out in the middle of a heavy cut makes me a
little nervous, to say the least. Would prefer to lose the thermal
protection (or maybe make it generate an alarm, so I could shut the thing
down in a controlled manner) & fit a cooling fan to the motor.
