Ian,
Maybe the way to do this is empirically. Since the
intent is to produce what is left over after you
make chips, (reverse or negative chips) ;-) Just
try milling something and measure the result. Your
mikes should be better than your machine (?). Try
this with Al and steel and see if you get
differences under load.
