Hi Rich;
We were discussing how to ensure that the aux outs in CNCpro would be
disabled when exiting the program:
CNCpro and they stay that way until you go back into CNCpro. However, we
can't be guaranteed this will be the case for any computer running any
software. Suppose the operator decides to boot W98, which in turn decides
to rearrange the parallel port.
of the serial port to disable the aux lines. I am already using octal
tranceivers that require manual enabling on start-up. Simply write a batch
file that fires the handshake line when you exit CNCpro. The handshake can
be tied to the octal tranceivers so as to unlatch the enable pins, thus
killing all outputs.

CNCpro and they stay that way until you go back into CNCpro. However, we
