If you find one tooled well enough to be useful, at a price you can
afford, buy it. Best accessory you can add is a microscope on a boom
stand. I modified some set screws for a medical device once, 0-80 x 1/8
long. Two stepped diameters, with .002 chamfers on the corners. With the
scope, no sweat. Hold 100 of these in your hand, and they look like fine
chips.
All hobby Levin owners need to watch eBay. There's a steady stream of
lathes, parts, and accessories, often at real decent prices.
