The new G320's can even be upgraded if needed... It's not
velocity servos, but it's a world better than steppers. I'm using 3
G320's
on a small mill, and 1 on a robot. My PWM amps on the robot just could
never handle the current, and when they failed they took a $40.00 PID
velocity control chip (The HCTL 1100) with it... Deadlines looming, I
swapped in a G320, wrote an output compare function for the HC11, and
the robot cruises along nicely.

Mariss and his support staff do a great job supporting a terrific
product!
