I have put the 22-Jul-1999 release on my FTP site
[http://www.ktmarketing.com] for now. Is this still the most current
release? If not, contact me off line and we can figure out how to get it
updated.

Yes, this is most current release. I've been working on 6-axis support
since this release. We just demoed a tabletop hexapod-style machine
driven by six cables and six stepper motors, cutting a
circle-diamond-square part in 4"x4" styrofoam with a Dremel tool. The
EMC still lacks a full 6-DOF interpreter and the ability to do any
orientation control, but both are in the works. The interpreter will
probably have configurable A/B/C syntax, and there will be another where
I/J/K are the direction cosines, suitable for use by hexapod machines.
The 6-axis motion planning with orientation control is being written by
a guy here for the summer from Stanford and needs to be tested.
