Group,
I talked with Randy, of The Linux Store and asked about the $200 box. He said it was an "Internet Appliance". It has no CD ROM or Floppy drive. Opening the box will void the warranty. It is available with RH 6.0 only.
He also stated if we could supply them with the specifications of a box, they wold be glad to quote one built, 5.2 installed. It sounds like a good way to go to me.
My thoughts:
350 MHz processor
64 Meg ram
? hard drive
CD ROM
Floppy
2 parallel ports, serial ports
Network card
Video board
Possible extras, modem
Any thoughts???????
Ron
