quick change tooling

Is anyone out there using quick change tooling on your milling machines?
What kind of system are you using/brand/style etc...
Has anyone set up a tool changer on a retrofitted mill?
I have been looking at the toolchangers on machines at work and it seems
like it could be done on a retrofit. The spindle motor and drive should
probably be controlled with an encoder to be able to orient the spindle.
