Joe,

Ahha's CNC Pro is different that Yeagers program, and I believe it had
been named "CNC Pro" long before Yeager wrote his program.
CNC Pro is a "light" version of Artisan. It also uses an I/O card, and
has certain desirable features disabled.
If you never intend to thread on a lathe, control a VFD, and can live
without the disabled functions, Ahha Pro half the price of Artisan and
provides 90% of the functionality. I'm running my knee mill on Pro, and
having eventually tracked down and eliminated multiple sources of lost
steps, I have a very reliable system that offers more programming
flexibility than anything else in the price range. Well, EMC offers
more, but since it's free, it's not in the "price range"...<G>
