You need RedHat 5.2. I see no reason you could not use Metro-X inplace of
X-Free.
If you go to my web site ( http://www.ktmarketing.com ) on the Home
machining and CNC page you will find a link to instructions on how to set up
a Linux box from scratch and install EMC. A link to the EMC files is also on
the same page.
