Current draw for these relays is about 4.4 mA at 4.9 Volts.

The relays were about $4 each and will control 10A at 230 V. Have not put my
ammeter in line with the parallel port but I will and report back. Andy

hi andy,
thanks for the info. Can you tell me what the voltage output on your
computer port is? How many milliamps do you get. Reason I ask is my
brother made a board for me to control the spindle but it needed to
be through a optoisolator and relay/transistor combo. My labtop only
puts out about 4.25 volts at about 6 millamps (or something that
small). How much where the relays?
thanks
