Last night I had a vision where I saw the solution to my drawbar
problem.
There is a safety cutout on this particular system, integrated with
the spindle brake on the Series 2 CNC.
No Spindle brake, no drawbar, no service.
Rewiring of the pneumatic circuit should fix this problem.
