APC have a parallel port surge protector (Part no. PSP25),
would this be any use to those of us driving machines via our
parallel ports, could it prevent damage to our computers ? Or would
the protection be too limited to be usefull ? I'm thinking
particularly of laptops where you don't have the option of plugging
in a port expansion card as many suggest to protect your motherboard.
details at:

base_sku=PSP25&language=en&LOCAL.APCCountryCode=US
or if that don't work try APCs homepage www.apc.com
