Three major differences.
1 - It will be running right away
2 - You will know that the problem is not the drive if everything is not
working as you expect at first.
3 - The Gecko G2XX series is far more sophisticated than most home built
drives with mid-band stabilization and micro stepping to virtually eliminate
any resonance.
