You can buy a kit to make such a device from Information Unlimited. It is a
hollow tube with a massive magnetic field generated inside it whe you turn
it on. Then you drop stuff down it, like floppy discs.... well that proberly
wouldn't work actually. You could mill a nice, classy version of it for fun
I suppose.
