I am currently cutting a big radius with a smaller radius ball mill. I
am getting a certain amount of stepping on the curve, as would be
expected:

I need to finish this to a smooth straight grained surface, like a
Scotch Brite wheel produces. I've thought of mounting such a wheel on
the machine spindle, and dressing it to a larger radius and making the
cuts again with that. How do I dress a Scotch Brite wheel to a radius?
Does a dressing diamond do it? A carbide tool bit?
This must be a fairly common situation in CNC shops that mill profiles
with ball mills. Is there a standard procedure for finishing profiles?
