hi, ah another jacobs taper accident. well your not alone. 2 things, first
if the chuck has a hole thru the center you can drill and tap the quill and
lock it in with a flathead screw. another way is to degrease,clean with fine
sandpaper, both pieces and use a heat releasable locktite and slam it back
in. otherwise i would find a chuck with a hole thru the center so you can
lock it with a screw..its the only way a chuck will hold if your milling all
the time. cul brian f.
