Progress !

CAD_CAMers:

I just had to try it. Instead of doing a nice job of wiring in a permanent
enclosure, I had to cobble together my system and see if it works. Using
any old wire I had laying around I connected my computer, opto-isolation,
drivers and steppers for X and Y. Components spread all over the table,
wires every which-way. Holding my breath I threw the switch.

And it moved!! I was amazed. Under EMC it moved, and it was cool. Then I
asked for an inch of motion and it gave me two. No problem, I pulled the
jumpers to get half step mode (which I assumed 8 months ago in the *.ini
file) and got one inch. Now that is amazingly cool, command one inch and
the table moves one inch. High Tech. :-)

Tons of work to do but I now know that it will work. Good time to thank
all those who've helped. I could not have gotten this far without your
help and the support of this group. Thank you.
