But Ericsson no longer manufactures the PBL3776. They sold the rights to
New Japan Radio but they have been unable to replicate the die. I am
told they have decided to try to make their own part.

PBL3776 is the integrated circuit manufactured formerly by Ericsson.
It is full bridge chopper driver which is able to go up to 40V/5A with
external FETs.
