Hi Peter,

Yes, that's what I had in mind. But if the handwheels come off, that
would simplify things! You might want to look at Sherline's conversion
kit for their mill, with a collar to adapt the "threaded end" of the
leadscrew up to the tapered end piece that they use to mate up to the
flexible coupling, a set of NEMA #23's could be used. Or one might
"adopt" the ideas for the Unimat!
