Dirk,

Your newsreader (AOL) is recognizing character strings in the
digest that tell it to go to a strikeout font. I've noticed it seems
to happen near a capital S and a bunch of leading spaces. Go
figure! Sometimes other things happen to the font as well.

Just alt-f-a "save as" text and read it in Notepad. No conspiracy
theories needed... :)
