Hi Pete,
I have not used the HT drive at all. I had just ordered the SP-3 to play with
and thats when I found out that the HT was going to be available.

I don't think there would be any problems connecting his board to most
step/dir controllers. Some however, do offer more options on the actual step
signals being sent.
That being said, I have found issues where the drives are touchy to get to
work correctly with the control. The most common is the polarity of the
signal for "dir", and that of "step/dir" signal duration.

Best information would be right from the developer of the board.
