Thanks for the additional info On EMC. I haven't yet decided what coarse of
action I will take. I have Linux 7.2 with the 2.2 kernel installed on a
older Nec laptop. I would really like to see if I could get it to control
Taig/Sherline lathe, mill combo machine. Basically I use the two axis lathe
and I made an adapter that replaces the headstock with the Sherline milling
column and a taig spindle and 90V DC motor and a KB PWM controller. If I
decide to go ahead and try to integrate, I will keep a diary of the process
and pass it along to the proper channel.
