Hi Brian
It uses 3 stepper motors with regular lead screw drives. It has 3 magnetic
home switches. I do not recommend this type of limit switch
I have had problems with magnetic flux on the hall effect senor does not
trigger at the same spot all the time usually off zero by a +-.002.
The y axis the moving table runs on parallel on 3/4" rods with a center lead
screw driving it.
The wood is 3/4" hardwood plywood it is very stiff. Just took one sheet and
other misc boards.
