Well it was a LCD panel without a backlight on it. Used for
putting on an overhead projector and projecting computer
images on the wall for presentations or teaching. I grafted
a backlight on it and it is now a small LCD monitor. This
allready has the electronics built in to convert standard
analog computer video to the required digital signals to
drive it. Laptop motherboards are built with digital signals
out, I believe, so you will need to buy an expensive controller
for it. Not really worth it in my opinion. You could put it on
ebay, there is someone out there with a broken screen on
a laptop who would love it. With the money you get, you can
get a stepper or servo controller and a book on Linux :>)
