Jon, Triangle Tool and Machine, after RA Enterprise who is claiming to sell everything at 50% as out of business by end of October (although most items are not marked and Richard's moods and the Grand Canyon have a great deal in common).
Tiangle also has quite a bit of unmarked items (but less of a per cent than RA), however the style of business at Triangle never changes ever. Whatever you experience, will be the same every time, time after time.
The old Weitd stuff location years ago was amazing for quality and cost.
In Sacramento (East of, and off Highway 50) there is a place called Blue Collar Supply, South of Highway 50. They have a ton of Grade 8 hardware in every size. Anyone looking for Grade 8 might check for a phone number on that place. They also have small rubber wheels for some odd reason (more than anyone might expect to find on shelves). Imagine walking into a store filled with Grade 8 Hardware and 6", 8", and 10" tires and wheels? I went back out the front door to see if Rod Sterling was standing in front of Camera One.
Do you have a source for tool steel rems? Small rounds and squares to make tooling and fixtures for the mill and lathe?

Dave,
I grew up down there (Mt View) and do suffer the traffic now and then to
hit some surplus outlets. Weird Stuff, HSC, and Haltec are my usual
stops. You recommend any others, with emphasis on motion control/CNC
type stuff?
Jon
