You may have problems with X on RH Linux 5.2 if your video card is anything
close to state of the art.
I have a Creative Labs Blaster Banshee. I had to find drivers and manually
install them. Same with Red Hat 6.
I suspect that given a PC with 3-4 year old hardware, the installation would
go easiest.
Perhaps someone would be willing to collect compatability information for
the EMC install?
I have yet to install the RT patch (since my mill is still 100% manual).
But I figured I should be getting
used to Linux. Especially given my profession as a software engineer.
