Cast metal question

Hello:
I am working on an old machine that has two pieces broken off by a
forklift in preparation to ship it.
I assumed both were cast iron only to discover neither is
magnetic...they are dark grey granular/crystalline-looking where break
happens, no bending, just fracture.
I'm told it can't be welded...someone suggested JB Weld (epoxy I
assume), but I think the fracture will still be stressed with only a
thin layer holding it. I want to glue (very thin epoxy or cyanoacrylate
(because it's so thin, crystalline metal surfaces can still interlock -
nto sure epoxy will allow that) it and then drill it to insert roll pins
thru/across the fracture.
Any suggestions?
The second piece has me puzzled - it's a 'T' shape, inverted. The 'top '
of the 'T' is actually the base, with two bolts holding it to the base
of the machine. A counter mounted on this inverted T. The 'stem' of the
tee was broken off.
After removing the bolts, I still can't remove the remaining base
(inverted 'top' of T"...block of wood and sledge hammer won't budge it,
can't see a bolt underneath...I can't figure why they put two 1/4-20
bolts thru it if it's so darn intimate with the base!
