If you connect the black and orange/white to the Gecko phase A, the
black /white and orange to phase B, the red and yellow/white to phase C
and the red/white and yellow wires to phase D set your current for three
amps.

Hello All,
I need a little help with selecting the proper motor amperage.
Here is what i have, Vexta PH268M-E1.5, 5.4V, 1.5A, and a Gecko 201A.
Here is what i came up with but being a beginer, i`m not sure.
It has 8 wires,Black,Black&White,Orange,Orange&White,Red,Red&White,
Yellow,Yellow&White.I hooked the Black and the Orange&White together.
Then hooked the Black&White and the Orange together, used a meter
across the two sets and came up with 1.8 ohm`s. Inputted the 1.8ohm`s
and the rated motor voltage, 5.4 through an ohm`s calculator, and
came up with 3 amp`s.So does that mean i settup the Gecko for 3amp`s?
With the remaining wires i tied Red&White to Yellow, And Red to
Yellow&White. I`m not sure but is the above wired as Parallel?
For hookup to the Gecko (If the above is correct)i basicly end up with
two sides (dont know the proper terminology)Orange&White tied to Black
and Black&White tied to Orange as one side, Red&White to Yellow and
Yellow&White to Red as the other side. Ok i need to take a breath
here. Now one side will go to Phase A&B, The other side to Phase C&D.
Will it matter which order the wire`s are in A&B or C&D as long as i
keep one side to A&B and the other side to C&D ?
Dont know if im in the right track or not, Please correct me if im
not. Thank You
