It depends totally on the PacSci drivers, and maybe your software, too.
I doubt it will get much rougher.

Hard to say, without info on the motors. The STG board (or my parallel
port board set) produces +/- 10V command signals to the servo
amp. So, you need servo amplifiers. Some servo amps need external
power supplies, some have built-in power supplies. It depends on the
unit. Some even take AC from a transformer secondary, and the rest
of the power supply is internal.
