Hello everyone,

I as previously stated in a past post am still a newbie. I have some
quesitons to throw out in regards to making a small cnc PCB maker. In
the future I plan to do a 3-n-1 cnc system but for now I have a need
for a CNC PCB machine. Now for the questions. I plan to use steppers
for now and need to know of a good/schematics/plans for a 3 axis
controller that will support the Linux EMC software. I already have
some small vexta 6 wire,6v,.8amp, 2-phase, 1.8 deg step motors that I
would like to start with and expand in the future. For now I just wan
to get mt feet wet. However, the controller I choose needs to have
room for expansion cause I know I will want to upgrade to larger
steppers in the future. Next off, LEad/Ball screws? Which should I
choose and more importantly where do I get them? Also the linear
rails? What size should I consider getting in the Dia.? I know what
length I want. Is there a special requirment for screws for the Z
axis? And lastly, EMC users, what PC hardware would you recommend.
Anything to stay away from, or a must have?

Thanks again folks for your help. Looking forward to your posts!
Shawn
