Many years ago, I used to abuse an Unimat SL. Got those same small round
rail type ways as the pictured mill. I found it very hard to do very precise
work. They could be flexed just by the cranking action on the X axis hand
wheel. If you program for very light cuts, keep your cutters sharp and work
light materials, it can be made to work. Boy, imagine this machine with THK
style linear bearings.
