First, I think you ought to do nothing yet- you said yahoo had not
'found' us yet. When/if they do maybe there will still be an option to
payoff the ads.

If it does happen that they refuse to take the money, then I say the Red
Cross is a fine place for it.

I get the digest mail version, and the ads dont seem to show up on it. I
get a couple groups that do have ads, Ive learned to just ignore them.

I find the mindless quoting of quotes of quotes, complete with the damn
yahoo tag paragraph much more annoying that an ad, but we go over that
topic every month or so anyway.
