Well, the sky is the limit. First a little practice is in order. perhaps to
get on track with the plasma cutter, metal fabricating shops sometimes get
unusual pieces that need to be made. autobody shops need lots of pull tabs
made to a number of sizes(recycle sheet metal scrap from fab shop)and also
cutting a patch of a simular part to exact size. Stop in to a shop with a
cutter and get a tour so you can see what type of work they do. Many weld
shops could use plasma services if they know what you can do.
Small machine/fab type shops are a good place to find work, once they know
your capabilities. My brother used to cut tool steel edges with a jig(eg.
planer blade gouge) so as to remove the gouge and save a lot of grinding. he
also made some woodworking shaper blades from tool steel stock using a jig.
you would use cnc instead of a jig. Good luck cul brian f.
