I had at least 40 - 50% lockup when I first tried to move an axis when
running
steppermod due to the stack size problem. EMC would always start, but would
lock on the first move. If it moved the first time all was well. Once I went
to
freqmod that problem went away. Maybe some computers are more suseptable
to the stack size problem. I was running a P200 at the time.

If running steppermod (see question #1) PID gains should not need to be
adjusted.
