I have turned in my 6.6" X 24" tiawain knee mill for a POWER MATIC/
BURKE (MILLRITE)it is a 8"x 36" table with 23" table travel. it is a
1972 vintage. it seems to be in good shape. I have been a member
for a while now just watching the group. I am asking for some
guidence? I do plan to convert it to CNC and use my own PC. I am
just not a WIZ with all of the oscilloscope comments I see. there
are so many choices which way which motors servo or stepper I still
dont know which one is better. I think I want to stay with a windows
based software. want to come up with a plan so I am not
buying things I will not need? Is there one stop shopping?
Thanks Clint
