a bad idea to send power a long distance, so they just send the

I swear I have seen cheap ones that do have power cables,
but the pro ones are not going to be in that configuration. If
you can send power down multiple conductors, you can use
one of the higer conductor number snakes.
I do intend on building
my own snakes. The one thing you can do is buy split loom tubing
or some of the many other sheathing products that are available.
Allied electronics has a coupla pages of sheathing products so
you can make your own cables. Of course, the sheilding is up
to you. There is some really cool nylon mesh tubing that is like
the finger handcuffs, but I only saw it in 1000' rolls for a million $.
I don't know if a local electrical distributor would have it by the foot.
My favorite mail order music store is Sweetwater sound.
This snake doesn't have power cables but it has the 8+ cables
you asked for:
the url is so long that it probly will be cut in half, so you will
have to cut and paste it:

Here is the beginning of the list in case you think you can
do a better job of searching. I would think you would want
to use XLRF (female) or XLRM (transgender). Musicians
are most likely to want male on one end and female on the other,
so that would be cheapest. The listings go in descending order
of price.

other places like musicians friend or Sam Ash may have what
you want also.

Sam Ash doesn't have any useful snakes online, but may
have them in a store.
