Then we'll just have to make it then! Also we can cut ourselves
a deal because I don't like the sounds of an 8 meter $500 cable!

The above cable layout should work for both:
- bipolar driven steppers (four power wires needed, so two pairs
for two coils up to 10A each)
or
- DC servo driven (two power wires needed, so double up on the
wires to get up to 20A circuit)

and the 8 other small signal wires for the encoder will deliver
+5V & GND to the encoder, and return either single ended or
differential signals.

Is there a market for the above (at reasonable prices?) ... or
am I just a perfectionist?
