OK Bill, here's what I have.

Sherline 5400 Mill with a full CNC Conversion and the rotary table
Sherline Lathe with full CNC conversion
AhHa Controller card and Grifftek controller box

As for software, I'm working with some basic software right now and I am
in the process of selecting a product to use. I am testing the Vector 8.0
CAD/CAM product (This is what the eval is) and I am waiting for delivery of
the Dolphin CAD/CAM software.

Both look like quite capable products and appear to be well supported.

I've made some dominos so far and I am presently working on a worm gear
using the Mill and the Rotary Axis with some coaching from Bill Griffin and
John Stevenson.

Ultimately, once I select a CAD/CAM Product to use with the above, I'll
start making parts for a small robot I am building.

So, while I do not have lots of machining experience to offer at this time,
I can say that I am pleased with my purchase and the support that I am
receiving on the CNC conversion. As far as the software, both companies
(Dolphin and Vector) have been very responsive to my requests and
questions.
